Job Responsibilities:Customer Service & Billing
- Answer customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat, providing professional and timely support.
- Troubleshoot basic technical issues remotely before dispatching a field technician if necessary.
- Assist customers with billing-related questions, including invoices, payments, and account discrepancies.
- Process service orders, account updates, and resolve billing disputes.
- Maintain accurate customer records and documentation in company systems.
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with services and issue resolution.
Field Technician Duties
- Perform on-site installations, troubleshooting, and repairs of IT/networking and telecommunications equipment.
- Set up and maintain routers, switches, VoIP systems, structured cabling, and office workstation setups.
- Conduct routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance for client systems.
- Provide hands-on training to customers regarding equipment operation and troubleshooting.
- Ensure all service calls are completed efficiently and documented accurately.
- Maintain a professional and customer-friendly demeanor while on-site.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 1-3 years in customer service, billing, or technical support (field experience preferred).
- Technical Skills: Basic networking knowledge (routers, switches, VoIP), structured cabling, and troubleshooting.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly assess issues and provide effective solutions.
- Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational skills for tracking service tickets, billing records, and customer inquiries.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in different environments.
- Education: High school diploma required; technical certifications (CompTIA, Cisco, etc.) are a plus.
- Driver’s License: Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for fieldwork.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
