Main Responsibilities:
- Serve meals to the elderly community in a safe and welcoming environment.
- Clean and maintain the food service area, adhering to high standards of hygiene and sanitation.
- Assist the dietary supervisor in managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, with or without accommodation.
- Ability to stand for long periods and move freely throughout the kitchen and dining areas.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with others.
- Basic math skills, with the ability to accurately count change and manage cash transactions.
- High school diploma or equivalent, with prior experience in food service or a related field.
