Dining Room Attendant

Cache Valley Assisted Living is a premier provider of senior care services. We're seeking a skilled and compassionate Server to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for serving meals to our residents in a timely and courteous manner.

Main Responsibilities:

• Serve meals to the elderly community in a warm and welcoming environment.
• Clean and maintain the food service area to ensure a safe and clean dining experience for our residents.
• Assist the dietary supervisor in maintaining inventory control and ensuring that we have the necessary supplies to meet the demands of our culinary operations.

Requirements:

• Be able to handle stressful situations well and remain calm under pressure.
• Be flexible and accommodating with hours and residents, demonstrating a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, families, and residents, using active listening skills and clear verbal communication.
• Demonstrate good time management skills, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Hold a current food handlers permit, which is required by law for all food service staff.
• Possess a love for the elderly and have a kind and compassionate attitude, recognizing the importance of providing exceptional care and support to our residents.
