Job Overview
This role involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing operative and invasive procedures. As a Same Day Surgery RN, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient flow and efficient room turnover.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized patient care during operative and invasive procedures.
- Facilitate smooth and efficient room turnover and patient flow.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and computer charting for accurate and timely documentation.
- Rely on previous experience to anticipate and meet the needs of surgeons and OR staff.
- Foster effective communication between patients, surgeons, and OR staff, as well as other departments as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Current State of Utah Registered Nurse License or compact.
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification.
- One or more years of OR experience required.
- Associate Degree.
