Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Your ability to manage time effectively while maintaining high standards of hospitality will be key to your success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
- Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies, including liquor, mixers, garnishes, and glassware; assist in ordering as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations related to food handling and alcohol service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure timely service for food orders.
- Participate in ongoing training related to mixology techniques, customer service skills, and health regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a bartending role or similar position within the restaurant or catering industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and health regulations related to beverage service.
- Proficient in basic math skills for cash handling and drink measurements.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and positive attitude.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must be of legal drinking age as per local regulations.
