The Opportunity :
CACI is looking for a range of entry to SME-level UX (User Experience / User Interface) Designers to join our dynamic team supporting Cyber Security Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), a component of Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Responsibilities :
The successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly both written and orally, and present ideas in a business-like manner. The candidate will be required to work in dynamic fast-paced environments that require team interaction and coordination of efforts. The candidate must be experienced in interfacing with both client managers and system users. The candidate should speak well in front of an audience and be able to present briefs to high-ranking government personnel and be able to provide whiteboard sessions and presentations to personnel in a clear, concise but comprehensive manner.
Additional Responsibilities :
- Work with business stakeholders to oversee and identify process opportunities.
- Work closely with development teams to create and improve interactive applications and web pages.

Qualifications : Required :
Education / Experience :
Entry :
BS / BA degree or equivalent and 0-3 years of experience in UX / UI Design / Development. An associate degree plus 4 years work experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Journeyman :
BS / BA degree or equivalent and 3-10 years of experience in UX / UI Design / Development. A Journeyman labor category typically performs all functional duties independently. Six years’ work experience or an Associate degree plus 4 years work experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Senior :
BS / BA degree or equivalent and 10 years of experience in UX / UI Design / Development and a master’s degree. Twelve years’ work experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. A bachelor’s degree plus 8 years work experience may be substituted for a master’s degree.
SME :
BS / BA degree or equivalent and 15 years of experience in UX / UI Design / Development and a master’s degree in addition to certifications in the applicable subject matter area. Twelve years’ work experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. A bachelor’s degree plus 20 years work experience may be substituted for a master’s degree.
Desired :
Previous DHS or DoD experience.

Pay Range : The proposed salary range for this position is : $57,500-$117,900. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
