The Opportunity:

We have an upcoming opportunity to support the United States Central Command’s Directorate of Intelligence (USCENTCOM J2) with strategic and tactical all-source intelligence analysis support. In this exciting opportunity you will conduct responsive, efficient, and reliable analysis and production to satisfy USCENTCOM’s primary lines of effort (LOEs). This will include analytical requirements focused on counterterrorism, counter insurgency, regional and transregional issues, energy, socio-cultural, and/or assisting with collection methodology. Help assess, interpret, forecast, and explain a range of national security issues and developments that help protect the Department of Defense (DoD) and advance USCENTCOM J2’s priorities in the Middle East.

 Responsibilities:

  • As a Counterintelligence Analyst you will have the opportunity to produce All-Source finished intelligence products that directly support CI/HUMINT Targeting and Lead Generation to identify foreign intelligence threats.  

  • You will conduct timely, relevant, in-depth research and analysis in support of CI/HUMINT Operations Support and provide multi-disciplined intelligence support to command plans and decision making.

  • Research, author, and publish Commander's Trip Books, Foreign visitor vetting products, HUM INT collection/source directed requirements and evaluations, HUMINT and Counterintelligence RFIs. 

  • Provide support to Asset Validation panels.

  • Integrate as part of a counterintelligence support team, collaborate, and conduct coordination with national-level IC partners. 

Qualifications:

Required:

  • TS/SCI clearance required with the ability to obtain a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph

  • Specialized training and bachelor’s degree with 10 years of experience, or 14 years’ experience in lieu of degree

  • Counterintelligence Analysis/Support experience

  • An in-depth understanding of the intelligence cycle.

  • Experience with ODNI’s analytic tradecraft guidance and experience writing to Intelligence Community Directives (ICD’s), specifically ICDs 203, 205, 206, 208 and TN 750.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction.

  • Demonstrated ability to integrate as part of an analytical team, collaborate, and conduct coordination with theater and national-level IC partners.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior military and civilian government officials, managers, and co-workers.

  • Experience using the following tools: NGT, TAC, RMT, CRATE and CHROME.

Desired:

  • ODNI’s Intelligence Fundamentals Professional Qualification (IFPC)

  • PACE 

  • Knowledge of USCENTCOM and DIA product lines

  • Counterintelligence Analysis experience focused on the USCENTCOM AOR

  • Counterintelligence analysis experience working with a Federal Law Enforcement or national intelligence agency.

  • Deployment experience in the USCENTCOM AOR

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$70,900 - $148,900
