The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking an Instructional System Designer/developer to create training materials for our OMIS-A customer. This role will be responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of training materials for Army applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in training methods, design and technologies to design and develop training materials.
Responsibilities:
The OMIS-A Training Developer shall analyze customer requirements, available training methods, and technologies to design and develop the required training materials.
Coordinate with the customer to identify the critical knowledge, skills, and abilities needed by personnel working in Army roles and technical requirements of the training content.
Conduct research, collaborate with operational technical experts and computer based training developers.
Troubleshoot training materials design issues to detect any inconsistencies/defects and ensure design meets customer needs
Qualifications:
5 years in Educational Technology and education and training
In lieu of the relevant Bachelor’s Degree an additional four (4) years of directly related, applied, practical experience for 5 years training and developing training materials or closely related field in lieu of experience.
Ability to read, interpret, organize, and synthesize source material into well-written, concise learning products and ability to develop strategies for on-line learning.
Desired:
Experience working in a DoD environment
Experience with Army testing or application development
Experience with testing • Experience in a helpdesk/customer service setting
Hands-on experience with AI Tools (e.g. GenAI, natural language generation, intelligent course authoring platforms) applicable to the design and development of interactive multimedia instruction.
Served as an in-residence and/or online instructor.
An understanding of competency-based assessment, learning, and development.
Experience with Blackboard
