The Opportunity :
CACI is seeking a collaborative junior-level Software Engineer to work with Unity Software Developers, Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) and government customer throughout the development and testing of complex media simulations. Develop new and existing technologies and software solutions using front-end and / or back-end skillsets. Support the ongoing management and updates of the classified network and systems.
Responsibilities :
- Develop web-based applications that will serve content to thousands of users across the Department of Defense (DoD).
- Develop software designs using best practices and object-oriented methodologies. Software will be developed using an agile-scrum development style, in conjunction with a multi-disciplinary team including designers, architects, and systems engineers.
- Perform mid-level development, test, analysis, and validation of software.
- Collaborate with your team and other business units to provide software solutions, following best practices ensuring a high-quality standard.
- Familiar with good configuration management practices and will be responsible for proper code maintenance, merging, and configuration management.
- Install and configure software, hardware and networks
- Ensure security and efficiency of hardware (Servers, laptop and desktop computers) and IT infrastructure
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
