What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Material Specialist II position at CACI?
The Opportunity:
You will have an important role in providing support to CACI's mission as a Medical Logistics Technician II, performing Medical Logistics support activities for the US Air Force, Headquarters, Air Mobility Command.
Responsibilities:
- Assists with managing the formal inventory and stock of medical materiel based on the components of the Patient Movement Items (PMI) and Critical Care Air Transport Team (CCATT) Allowance Standard and Aeromedical Evacuation (AE) In-flight Kit.
- Perform duties of shipping, inventorying, tracking and accounting for medical equipment and supplies which are part of the PMI, AE, and CCATT Programs.
- Receives new and excess supplies and cross levels them to satisfy current shortfalls within projects.
Manages and maintains the transportation shipment program for out-shipments to both CONUS and overseas locations.
- Manages and maintains deployable equipment utilizing the Patient Movement Items Asset Tracking System and the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support software data application (DMLSS).
- Performs various other warehouse duties.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Ability to pass a favorable National Agency Check with Local Law and Credit (NACLC).
- 3 years of Medical Logistics experience and a BA/BS degree, or 6 years of Medical Logistics experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree, or 4 years of Medical Logistics experience plus an associate’s degree may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
- Graduate of the Air Force Medical Materiel Apprentice Course or equivalent Service Medical Materiel course.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- Experience utilizing the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) software data application.
- Forklift Operator Certification
- HAZMAT Certification
