Job Description:
The Opportunity:
Join CACI as an Operations Manager for the Air Force Base Infrastructure Modernization (BIM) Program. Lead an on-site team dedicated to optimizing and sustaining critical network infrastructure at Air Force bases worldwide. In this high-impact role, you'll:
Spearhead enterprise-level network operations, ensuring uninterrupted communication capabilities
Collaborate with key Air Force stakeholders to drive successful program execution
Apply your extensive Air Force IT experience to swiftly resolve complex network challenges
Travel periodically to other program sites, broadening your international experience
Make a significant impact on Air Force operational efficiency and mission readiness
Responsibilities:
Lead and develop military and civilian technical teams
Oversee network monitoring, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management
Drive strategic planning for future network upgrades and expansions
Manage crisis response for network outages and cyber incidents
Ensure compliance with Air Force policies and security requirements
Facilitate clear communication between CACI teams and Air Force stakeholders
Provide Air Force-specific operational insights to support engineering efforts
Qualifications:
Required:
Experience with DoD enterprise-level modernization programs
Cyber incident response team management experience
Advanced technical certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCNP, CCIE, PMP)
DoD budget planning and contract management experience
Familiarity with Air Force cybersecurity policies and risk management frameworks
Desired:
