The Opportunity:
Join CACI as a Senior Master Scheduler for the provision of IT services under the SCITLS contract supporting USSTRATCOM. You'll be a key member of our team, driving comprehensive scheduling and risk management efforts across the organization. In this role, you'll create and maintain critical schedules, coordinate with various teams to ensure accurate timeline representation, and identify potential risk areas. You'll apply your expertise in scheduling tools and techniques to evaluate performance results and recommend impactful changes for project success. This position offers the opportunity to work as a technical expert across multiple projects, developing Technical Direction Letter Responses (TDLs) and driving process improvements. Your strategic thinking and analytical skills will be crucial in balancing day-to-day schedule management with long-term project optimization.
This role is part of an innovative IT Service Management Office (ITSMO) team supporting U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) in Omaha, Nebraska, and is contingent upon award of the USSTRATCOM SCITLS contract.
Responsibilities:
Master Scheduler, Senior:
Creates and updates schedules on a weekly basis to reflect changes
Notifies management of potential risk areas in the schedule
Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge of tools and techniques related to the IMS and proposed schedule for implementation
Coordinates with Business Operations Lead and Project Managers to incorporate team schedules into the IMS
Coordinates with subcontractor teammates and Government personnel, and attends and participates in meetings
Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success
Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments, including development of TDLs
Identifies and reports on risks and opportunities for improvement
May supervise others
Qualifications:
Required:
Current Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
Bachelor’s degree in science (BS) or a bachelor’s degree in arts (BA)
A minimum of 7 years of experience in Problem Management and/or Risk Management
A bachelor's degree or higher from an ABET* (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology) accredited program in cybersecurity, computer science, or a related field OR
A bachelor's degree or higher from an institution designated as a Center of Academic Excellence (CAE)* in Cyber Defense Education by the National Security Agency (NSA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) OR
Possess and maintain the Defense Acquisition University (DAU) CCYB 002A Cybersecurity for Program Managers Credential. This credential is obtained by completing an 8-hour course and requires recertification every three years. If not already held, the successful candidate must obtain this credential within 6 months of hiring, completed outside of regular work hours. The employee will be responsible for maintaining this credential throughout their employment by completing the required recertification every three years. AND
Have completed the Defense Acquisition University (DAU) CLE 074 Cybersecurity Throughout DoD Acquisition course. This is a 4-hour course. If not already completed, the successful candidate must finish this course within 6 months of hiring, completed outside of regular work hours.
