The Opportunity:
As a CACI Social Media and Website Content Manager, you will support the U.S. Central Command Public Affairs Directorate (CCPA) where you will shape CENTCOM’s online presence and engage audiences worldwide.
CCPA serves as the principal advisor to the Commander on all internal and external communication strategies and to support the command's theater objectives. CCCI supports the command's obligation to keep the American people and regional audiences informed about USCENTCOM operations that lead to defeating our adversaries, improving regional stability and promoting and protecting U.S. interest in the USCENTCOM area of responsibility (AOR).
Under the strategic guidance of CCPA's Command Information Section Chief, you'll manage and enhance CCPA's English and foreign language social media and website platforms. Your role extends from technical maintenance to creative content creation, ensuring CENTCOM's message resonates with diverse audiences. The Social Media and Website Content Manager will be expected to support emergent 24/7 shift surge requirements, when necessary, in case of crisis or other unforeseen events or as directed by the Director, CCPA.
Responsibilities:
- Manage CCPA's English and foreign language social media and website platforms at the tactical level, including creative design and technical maintenance, under CCPA’s strategic supervision.
- Remotely update CCPA's English and foreign language social media and website platforms when necessary.
- Maintain a keen focus on security requirements for CCPA's platforms and work closely with CENTCOM's J6 Directorate to ensure adherence to CENTCOM and DOD security policies.
- Monitor and analyze statistical data of websites and post views by URLs, regions, and other metrics.
- Produce frequent posts on CCPA’s social media and website platforms, particularly during crisis events and as requested by senior CENTCOM leadership.
- Provide administrative contractor support for Regional Media Specialists.
- Write and edit AP-style feature stories for publication on the CENTCOM website and social media platforms.
- Advise on website coding and design based on current industry best practices to effectively display information for public viewing on the CENTCOM website.
- Produce media read-ahead books for the CENTCOM commander and other key leaders.
- Maintain a database of articles and talking points in OneNote.
- Provide a monthly written report of insights and best practices regarding digital media platform usage, including recommendations on platform prioritization, content dissemination timing, and platform selection based on analytical data.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Active Secret Clearance
- Educational background in web design/social media, computer science, and programming
- Knowledge of current industry best practices in social media platforms and website development/design.
- Knowledge of key analytics and metrics pertaining to social media platforms and websites.
- Proficiency in web coding/programming languages (HTML/CSS, PHP, ASP .NET, JavaScript).
- Experience with analytics tools and metrics pertaining to social media platforms and websites.
- Experience with tools for monitoring web traffic, developing web content, and coordinating technical issues and support with the CENTCOM web host/server.
- Experience with Associated Press (AP) Style, Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Understanding of U.S. military structure, culture, and language
Desired:
· Bachelor’s degree in journalism or public relations

The proposed salary range for this position is:
