What are the responsibilities and job description for the Windows System Administrator / Application Release Manager position at CACI?
The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a Windows System/Application Administrator to join our growing team at the Shared Services Center in Oklahoma City. You will be supporting our organization by addressing hardware and software infrastructure issues, configuring servers, and deploying updates in a multi-level environment including custom developed software applications.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate and contribute to a fast-paced and dynamic team as it provides quality customer service and corporate accountability.
Provides day to day administrative/technical/environmental support for several enterprise systems: Multi-tier Applications, Task Scheduling Software, ODBC connections, .Net code, and Web services on Windows Servers.
Provides support to technical/development teams on development projects, software customizations and serving as liaison with software authors for timely resolution.
Responsible for troubleshooting/maintaining/configuring multi-tier application environment consisting of Development, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Production levels.
Perform root cause analysis for issue resolution and prevention.
Troubleshoot environmental/performance issues.
Work with third party software vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Complete commercial off-the-shelf application installations, configurations, and implementations.
Deploy application code changes as provided by application vendor & internal developers while maintaining stringent change control parameters.
Creates, updates, and closes tickets in company ticketing system in accordance with SLA agreements
Provides support documentation for all of the applications/servers that are supported by the team.
Applies security patches, application upgrades, and operating system upgrades to ensure the security and integrity of the production environment.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with IT infrastructure including applications, servers, storage and network connectivity.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in an IT discipline and 3 or years of experience or equivalent related work experience.
Proficient in Microsoft System Administration, Powershell, IIS, SCOM, SCCM,and Windows Security.
Proven work experience configuring Microsoft servers.
Experience in MS SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or other database administration
Desired:
Experience in RedHat Linux, Kubernetes, or AWS EKS
Experience with and understanding of Cloud Computing technologies, AWS/Azure
Experience with SCOM, MECM, SCORCH, and Splunk
Experience deploying and supporting containerized applications
