What are the responsibilities and job description for the OPERATOR II position at CACIQUE LLC?
SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, The HCV-Vat Operator will be responsible for following all GMP, SOP, and safety regulations to maintain a safe and productive working environment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Effectively perform in the production facility and maintain quality and thorough standards
- Utilizes Continuous processes to drive zero losses and uphold the company culture
- Maintain records and paperwork accurately
- Take samples in a timely manner
- Strong communication skills
- Ensure cheese quality meets customer specifications
- Follow recipes and schedule to ensure customers' needs are met
- Each employee shall comply with all OSHA regulations
- Complies with all applicable food safety regulations and mandates (Safe Quality Foods, Food and Drug Admin, Pasteurized Milk Ordinance)
- Perform other duties as assigned by Team Lead & Supervisor
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 to 5 years’ experience working with Vats
- Ability to operate or ability to learn how to operate all equipment
- Desire to grow with the company
- Ability to work unsupervised and under pressure
- Must be well organized
- Ability to troubleshoot
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of the proper use of all cleaning chemicals
- Must be able to work weekends, overtime, and Night Shift as required
3rd shift (1pm-9:30pm)
