SUMMARY: 

 

This is an HR Generalist/HRBP role with a specific focus on plant operations to foster a high performing, highly engaged, and connected workplace culture. The role will interface with team members at all levels of the site and cross-functionally to promote team member success through a learning and growth mindset. The HR business partner at the plant will be centered on a high touch, servant leadership, customer service delivery model while supporting the site and team members in achieving organizational milestones that optimize process and strengthen the core business, capabilities, and operational effectiveness. 

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Serves as a point of contact to team members and operates as a trusted business partner by providing cross-functional HR guidance, counsel, data/analytics, and solutions to plant operations.
  • Champions change and helps position the company for success with effective communications and empowered employees; thus, driving, and engaging self-service and manager self-service resources and technology adoption.
  • Drive operational efficiency by participating, supporting, and facilitating process review projects to continuously improve process discipline and the speed at which work is executed.
  • Support the use of tools and training resources for teammate and site success
  • Supports internal/external surveys and data requests; supports assessment of data; collects feedback formally and informally to facilitate data driven decision making, design solutions in response to issues in a meaningful and constructive way.
  • Supports HR and employee-relations activities and programs including but not limited to new hire orientation, teammate meetings, interpretation of policies, new employee benefits orientation, and employee recognition programs.
  • Identify, implement, and maintain programs and/or approaches (tools) to improve the overall Cacique Teammate experience.
  • Supports the administration and communication of company-wide human resources policies, programs, procedures, and practices in accordance with stated corporate objectives and federal and state legal requirements.
  • Supports and facilitates the programs and processes to manage performance, team member development, and retention
  • Supports and facilitates the programs and initiatives to foster a strong safety culture
  • Partners with external vendors, local/state agencies and programs to build and nurture relationships for team member and community enrichment
  • Promotes a sense of curiosity and interest to seek and act on continuous improvement opportunities

 

  QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent, five to eight years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Working knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
  • Understands the organization’s value proposition and employee experience mindset and can articulate fundamentals of the business.
  • Able to champion new ideas, manage change, and execute on action plans.
  • Experience in all HR concentration areas such as HRIS, benefits; compensation; employment law; employee relations; leave administration; occupational health, safety, and security; Learning & Development/LMS.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities, projects, workflows, and to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of teams and committees.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office; ADP WorkForceNow/e-Time; familiarity with ATS and LMS systems also required.
