Job Overview
The Retail Manager oversees daily retail operations in the retail office, ensuring seamless staff coordination, exceptional customer service, and accurate administrative processes. This role manages the efficient use of Zendesk, Ship Station, and Microsoft Office tools to maintain productivity and customer satisfaction. Cackle Hatchery sells and ships live poultry across a wide variety of states all across the U.S. in this position you will ensure all customers and employees are taken care of in an efficient manner.
Duties
- Check and respond to emails daily.
- Review the staff calendar for schedules and absences.
- Manage and update permits; ensure completion and submission within required timelines.
- File invoices and process mail-in orders.
- Monitor employee productivity and provide guidance.
- Host team meetings to address challenges and updates.
- Handle escalated customer complaints or issues.
- Address and resolve order and poultry-related concerns.
- Oversee daily operations of Zendesk and ShipStation.
- Ensure office supplies are stocked and ordered as needed.
- Schedule monthly printer/scanner inspections and services.
