Server/Waiter

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and attentive Server to join our dynamic fine dining team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests while ensuring their safety and satisfaction. You will play a key role in ensuring the success of our restaurant by delivering top-notch service, maintaining a clean and organized environment, and contributing to a positive and welcoming atmosphere.

Duties:

- Greet guests promptly and make them feel welcome
- Take orders and ensure accuracy
- Deliver food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner
- Provide excellent guest relations and resolve any issues promptly
- Upsell and recommend menu items to enhance the dining experience
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods
- Ensure food safety and follow proper handling and storage procedures
- Clean and reset tables between courses
- Manage multiple tables and prioritize tasks effectively
- Manage cash and credit transactions accurately
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on culinary trends and fine dining practices
- Work closely with the culinary team to ensure seamless service
- Collaborate with the bussing team to ensure prompt and efficient clearing of tables
- Maintain a clean and organized server station
- Adhere to the restaurant's policies and procedures
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a Server in a fine dining or high-end restaurant environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety and service protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tables
- Strong time management skills to ensure prompt service
- Proficiency in sales and upselling
- Familiarity with fine dining and culinary techniques
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic math skills and cash handling experience
- Food service certification a plus

- Must be committed to providing exceptional guest service and maintaining a clean and organized environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $6.38 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
