Position Overview :
As a Substitute Teacher, you will be pivotal in ensuring a seamless learning experience for children when their regular teachers are unavailable. This role requires adaptability and a dedication to maintaining the educational objectives and values of various centers. We are growing ! At present, this is a part-time position allowing you to choose shifts that fit your lifestyle. However, this will be expanding quickly!
Key Responsibilities :
Support Learning Environments : Engage with students in diverse classrooms, providing guidance and support in the absence of the regular teacher.
Implement Lesson Plans : Execute lesson plans and classroom activities as provided.
Ensure Safety and Well-Being : Create a safe and supportive atmosphere for children, adhering to all health and safety standards.
Foster Relationships : Collaborate with center staff to cultivate a nurturing environment focused on children's development.
Model Professionalism : Represent the Cactus Club Subs brand positively through a professional appearance and a commitment to excellence.
Exhibit a Positive Attitude : Maintain an optimistic attitude and adaptability, embracing opportunities to learn and grow in various educational settings.
Required Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 6 months of prior experience in childcare settings.
Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card, along with completion of background checks and drug screening.
Strong communication skills with a proven ability to adapt quickly to differing classroom environments.
Confident, positive demeanor, coupled with a commitment to service-oriented work.
