Job Title : Senior Automotive Mechanic
Location : Tucson, AZ

Working Hours : Monday through Friday, 8-hour shift
Salary Range : $25-$30 / hourly DOE
Job Description :
We are seeking an experienced Automobile Mechanic to join our team at our Tucson, AZ location. As an Automobile Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles, ensuring their safe and efficient operation. This is a full-time position with a Monday through Friday schedule and an 8-hour shift.
Responsibilities :
Perform thorough inspections and diagnostic tests on vehicles to identify issues and determine the best course of action.
Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements, in accordance with established procedures.
Repair and replace malfunctioning or damaged components, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, electrical systems, HVAC and other automotive parts.
Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment and tools to accurately diagnose complex vehicle problems.
Keep accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and service history for each vehicle.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety guidelines and regulations at all times.
Stay updated with the latest automotive technology and industry advancements through continuous learning and training.
Requirements :
Previous experience working as an automobile mechanic at least 5 years
Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, brakes, and suspension.
Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and specifications.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Valid driver license
ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certifications are a plus.
