What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social / Digital Copywriter position at Cactus?
The Social/Digital Copywriter (partnered with a Social/Digital Art Director) will concept and execute unexpected, insightful, and compelling creative ideas, primarily within social and digital platforms.
The right individual for this role will have an exceptional portfolio of work that displays superior content creation experience and conceptual problem-solving skills, strong ability to write captivating headlines and copy across a wide variety of tactical applications (social, web, email, etc.), and platform-first thinking as it pertains to creating engaging work that feels native to the social channels it’s created within. An avid student of social media platforms, culture, and trends, this individual will not only be adept and nimble in developing creative ideas but will also be proficient and resourceful in bringing those ideas to life through static design, animation, and live-action production, consistently delivering on quick-turn timelines.

RESPONSIBILITIES
· Develop fearless, un-ignorable creative concepts that help solve our clients’ business problems.
· Lead and guide the copywriting and storyline aspects for assigned projects.
· Apply feedback with thoughtfulness, creativity, and intelligence.
· Work closely and cross-departmentally with all other Cacti through all the phases of a project.
· Work with internal teams to manage all vendors, freelancers and artists.
· Apply strategic insights in ways that solve assignments with creative ingenuity.
· Simultaneously accomplish multiple complex assignments with overlapping timelines, never sacrificing quality or commitment to excellence.
· Develop creative solutions for a wide range of tactics, including social, animation, and live-action video, digital advertising, email, and more.
REQUIREMENTS
· Portfolio and reel that demonstrate creative skills
· 1-3 years of experience is preferred
· Schooling in creative advertising and conceptual development
· Ability to generate consistently outstanding creative concepts and produced assets
· Writing experience across a variety of media
· Knowledge of the mechanics of writing and grammar
· A flexible approach and willingness to adapt your ideas to the needs of clients
· A passion for social media, culture, advertising, creativity, and commercial art
· A keen eye for visual details
· Skilled in the latest art and design software
· The resilience to perform under pressure and deliver high-quality work amidst tight deadlines
· Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
· Optimistic, solution-oriented, team player
· Strong problem-solving skills
Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
