Cactus is seeking a Sr. Brand Strategist to join our Brand Strategy team. This role is for a natural leader, a sharp thinker, and a proactive strategist who thrives on uncovering human truths and transforming them into world-class creative solutions. You’ll work alongside the Group Strategy Director, leading clients through complex challenges with clarity and inspiration. From crafting compelling creative briefs to delivering polished presentations, you’ll be a key voice in shaping strategies that drive business growth and produce award-winning creative.
This role is based in Denver, CO, operating on a hybrid schedule with on-site collaboration required on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
Job Roles:
STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP:
- Champion Belief & Behavior Design®, leading its application across client accounts and new business pitches.
- Develop a deep understanding of client businesses, industries, and objectives to craft transformative strategies.
- Partner with Account and Creative leads to produce insightful, consumer-centric creative briefs that inspire.
- Write compelling, sharp, polished, strategic narratives that keep audiences engaged and inspire internal teams quickly.
INSIGHT GENERATION:
- Conduct, oversee, and interpret qualitative and quantitative research, distilling complex data into actionable insights.
- Monitor cultural, social, and industry trends, identifying emerging opportunities and challenges for clients.
- Translate research and consumer behavior analysis into unexpected insights that ignite creative ideas.
CLIENT COLLABORATION:
- Lead client workshops, brainstorming sessions, and stakeholder interviews with confidence and poise.
- Deliver strategic POVs and presentations with clarity, passion, and conviction, adapting to dynamic client needs.
- Build and maintain trusted client relationships, serving as a strategic partner and thought leader.
TEAM CONTRIBUTION:
- Mentor and inspire team members, fostering a collaborative, ego-free environment.
- Proactively initiate ideas, tools, and processes to elevate the agency’s strategic output.
- Serve as an advocate for behavior change methodology within the agency and with clients.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience in agency strategy or account planning roles.
- Expertise in behavioral psychology, behavioral economics, sociology, or cultural anthropology is highly beneficial.
- Proven ability to craft brand architectures (tone, voice, pillars, promise, mission, and manifesto) based on primary and secondary research
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including creative briefs, strategic POVs, and presentations.
- Outstanding presentation skills proven to inspire teams and persuade clients.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at managing multiple priorities across diverse accounts.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to distill input from various stakeholders into clear, actionable strategies.
- Insatiable curiosity and a passion for staying ahead of consumer behavior, technology, and culture trends.
Salary : $90,000 - $115,000
