Furniture Delivery Helper

Job Overview
I need a helper who has experience in assembling furniture, it is a very delicate job and experience is needed and who can help the driver in everything he needs, assemble all the pieces and everything related to the furniture assembly work.

All work is done on each delivery to a residence.

I’ m looking for any helper who has at least one year of experience in furniture assembly.

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery Helper to join our team. In this role, you will assist in the efficient delivery of goods to our customers, ensuring that all items are loaded, transported, and unloaded safely. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work collaboratively with drivers to complete delivery routes effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist the driver in loading and unloading items from the vehicle, ensuring safe handling of goods.
• Help navigate delivery routes and maintain timely schedules.
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with customers during deliveries.
• Ensure that all delivery paperwork is completed accurately and efficiently.
• Operate equipment such as hand truck and dolly when necessary for loading and unloading tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
• Support the driver in performing routine vehicle inspections and reporting any maintenance needs.

Skills

• Experience as a van driver or box truck operator is preferred.
• Familiarity with route driving and navigating local areas effectively.
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
• Previous experience in moving or courier services is advantageous.
• Strong physical stamina to lift heavy items and perform manual tasks.
• Excellent customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with clients.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.

Pay: $650.00 - $750.00 per week

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
