What are the responsibilities and job description for the Prevention Specialist position at CADAS?
A Prevention Specialist provides Alcohol and Drug prevention education services to children and/or youth in the Hamilton County school district as well as other community outreach under the auspices of the IFSG grant.
Applicant must have a minimum of a Bachelors Degree in a related field.
Prevention Specialist must have good classroom management skills, be able to lead & facilitate group sessions, and have experience in collecting and reporting group data.
Must have experience working with adolescents & families and display the ability to build relationships with schools and community contacts.
Prevention Specialist need experience working in data collecting & reporting recommended.
Must have good organizational & time management skills and be able to work both individually and as a team.
Experience in substance abuse recommended, but not required.
Job Type: Part-time
