Job Title - Proposal Manager
Location - Montgomery, AL, on-site

What You Will Do
- Analyze RFP documents and prepares Caddell response
- Works with joint venture partners, design team partners, and key subcontractors to define and manage deliverables as necessary to complete proposal requirements
- Works directly with estimators, operations personnel, and other field and home office personnel to gather information necessary to develop proposals
- Establishes internal due dates for proposal requirements to ensure adequate time for review by all necessary stakeholders
- Confers with Director of Marketing and Proposals and appropriate business unit leaders projects and personnel for inclusion in proposal documents
- Maintains proposal files on a shared server
- Maintains assigned proposal/opportunity records in company selected database software
- Available to help with additional tasks that impact proposals such as CPARS evaluations, small business subcontracting statistics, safety statistics, and company financial information
- Prepares for and leads proposal debrief conversations with clients
- Assists with training of new proposals personnel
- Preforms additional assignments per supervisor's direction
- Working Conditions – Office setting, no travel required, full time
- Reporting Structure – Director of Marketing & Proposals
What We Expect
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities – Strong business and technical writing skills, strong organizational skills, strong interpersonal skills, ability to work a flexible schedule, demonstrated ability to analyze RFPs and other owner documents, demonstrated ability to manage work process and adhere to schedules. Ability to balance multiple competing priorities under deadlines. Thoroughly fluent in use of Microsoft Office and the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite.
Education / Experience - Minimum high school diploma/GED and five years’ experience in professional business writing. Four year degree in related field and two-years of proposal writing experience preferred.
While the salary range is typically between $49,100 - $67,475 annually, applicants are encouraged to share compensation expectations as part of the application process. Caddell honors prior experience, education, and qualifications of applicants in order to make attractive and competitive offers.
