What The Role Is
Under supervision of the Mortgage Loan Regional Manager, the Community Development Lending Area Manager is responsible for supervising mortgage loan production within a mortgage branch or branches in a specific area. The Community Development Lending Area Manager may also produce individual sales production.
How You will Make an Impact
* Provides direction and leadership to Mortgage Loan Officers to ensure corporate goals of volume, quality and compliance standards are met.
* Assists Mortgage Loan Officers with complex or problematic loans.
* Monitors and manages branch performance and reports findings to senior management.
* Manages staff workflow and monitor pipelines to meet closing dates and/or submission to compliance.
* Recruits and mentors Mortgage Loan Officers to increase production and maintain market share.
Who You Are
* Knowledge of all aspects of mortgage lending with good understanding of all agency, including but not limited to, FHA, VA, FNMA, USDA and portfolio underwriting guidelines.
* Be able to meet strict time deadlines and work independently under pressure.
* Detailed oriented and able to follow set guidelines
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Minimum 5 years mortgage loan experience, and 2 years of management experience.
