Cadence Care Network is looking for a Full Time Payroll / HR Assistant. This position will be responsible for processing bi-weekly payroll for all company employees in addition to providing assistance to the HR Director with general duties.
The duties include:
- Entering and/or reconciling timecards
- Ensure proper processing of payroll deductions and benefits
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll in software system
- Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll wage and hour laws and best practices.
- Assist with pre-employment and onboarding process.
- Conduct background checks as required for employment.
- Process and create new employment files.
Requirements:
- Minimum of Associates degree in accounting, business or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in payroll administration.
- Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task, organize, prioritize, and coordinate work activities to meet required deadlines.
- Excellent Organizational and communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Payroll applications.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
