Cogir Senior Living (formerly Cadence Living) is hiring an experienced, friendly, and team-oriented Administrative Assistant in our premier retirement community Cadence Chandler by Cogir.
The Administrative Assistant will support the Business Office Director in managing the business office functions in the community, including communication with residents, families, and employees regarding resident billing and employee onboarding. Supports all AR / AP and payroll functions for the community, as well as the front desk concierge team. Responsible for streamlining administrative procedures, inventory control, responding to calls and emails, and completing all administrative tasks as needed.

What will you do as an Administrative Assistant?
- Assist the Business Office Director with all administrative responsibilities.
- Produce and manage accounts receivable.
- Ensure correct coding of accounts payables and processes accordingly.
- Assist in residents' contracts, execution, and renewals.
- Assist the Community Relations team with inquiries, tours, move-ins, and other tasks, as needed.
- Assist in training and/or counseling the front desk concierge team.
- Regular support with filing and data entry.
- Order office supplies and monitor inventory of stock.
- Manage all resident and employee files.
- Maintain all pet records for the community and ensure compliance with state requirements.
- Assist in month-end closing procedures.
- Participate in the manager-on-duty program.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures of Cogir Senior Living.
If you have these qualifications, we'd love to chat:
- A positive team player mentality and passion for serving seniors.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree (AA) preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years experience working in a professional office setting.
- Computer skills, including an understanding of Word, Excel, and Outlook required. Experience in creating and maintaining efficient filing and data storage systems (paper and electronic).
- Working knowledge of general accounting, billing, collections, and expense management.
- High degree of accuracy in all assignments; ability to manage time effectively with a high degree of accuracy and integrity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
- Customer service and professionalism in person and on the phone. Ability to handle data with confidentiality, and HIPPA compliance.
