Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support business operations and strategic decision-making.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze structured data from various sources.
- Collaborate with executives and cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure business success and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy by cleaning, structuring, and validating datasets.
- Apply basic statistical methods to identify trends, correlations, and anomalies.
- Adapt to changing business needs and provide ad hoc analysis as required.
- Contribute to the development of automated reporting processes and business intelligence tools.
Requirements
- Proficiency in SQL (ability to write complex queries and optimize database interactions).
- Strong understanding of structured data and data structures.
- Solid mathematical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze large datasets.
- Experience building reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar).
- Strong ability to present data visually.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of statistics (e.g., mean, variance, regression, probability distributions).
- Ability to present findings clearly and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work directly with C-suite executives and cross-functional teams.
- Highly adaptable, with the ability to shift priorities in a dynamic business environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience in auto finance, lending, or financial services.
- Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis.
- Exposure to machine learning concepts or predictive modeling.
