Territory Business Manager
Cadence Petroleum Group is hiring a Territory Business Manager to join one of the nation’s most progressive distributors of petroleum products used in automotive, commercial and industrial end markets in the Shreveport, Louisiana area.
The TBM has a customer-first, problem-solving attitude that’s focused on exceeding growth targets to offer the industry’s highest level of service and capabilities. This role is responsible for the acquisition of new accounts and maintenance of existing accounts in the lubricants industry, across a wide-array of end markets. You will be expected to build and maintain a customer base, achieve volume and profit goals, and represent the values of the company.
Experience in the lubricants industry is not required although it can be advantageous. Experience around or a network within the industrial, on-highway or off-highway commercial, and/or automotive markets is preferred.
We offer a competitive starting salary with significantly higher total earnings opportunity through additional commission.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Maintaining current accounts and acquiring new accounts in an established territory
- Build annual territory AOP (Annual Operating Plan) plan and manage growth vs established annual target
- Managing all prospect pipeline target details in Zoho CRM tool to achieve annual AOP targets
- Working with a broad array of businesses ranging from the automotive, commercial, industrial and wholesale end markets
- Assessing the nature of customer issues and resolve basic-to-complex problems by communicating with intercompany departments
- Managing all customer communication expectations logged in Zoho CRM tool
- Work with customer service team to follow-up with leads, customer requests and (or) issues
- Work with credit team to help manage account balance questions and(or) past due amounts
Experience and Skills Needed
- 3 to 5 years of outside sales experience in a distribution
- Proven ability to generate new business and exceed targets
- CRM management and(or) background analyzing and sharing trends
- Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrates quick problem-solving skills and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Proven ability to efficiently manage multiple projects and tasks at the same time
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
