What You Will Do
The Laundry Aide plays an important role in facility, by maintaining the cleanliness of the linen and residents clothing. We are looking for a person with a passion to help and drive to be successful. In this role, you vital to making sure the building and staff has everything it needs and to continue providing the best care to our residents.
Responsibilities
- Completes all tasks from the Environmental Services Manager
- Responsible for collect soiled linen and clothing
- Sorts laundry and linens and ensures it’s washed in the proper cycle
- Distributes neat, folded clean laundry and personal resident clothing.
- Responsible for keeping equipment and work areas clean and stocked
Qualifications
- Must possess High School diploma or equivalent
- At least 6 months of experience of housekeeping/environmental services
- Previous experience in Long term care and familiarity with state and federal regulations is preferred.
