Position Description
The Rehabilitation Director will oversee the day-to-day operations of the rehabilitation department in accordance with current regulations and policies to ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide billable patient care in addition to management responsibilities.
- Ensure State, Federal & Medicare Policies and Procedures and Patient Care Rehabilitation Standards are met in assigned facilities.
- Support the facilitys culture & operations with training/marketing efforts to help the company meet customer satisfaction, census & financial objectives.
- Responsible for the review & analysis of productivity of rehabilitation staff with assurance of attainment of minimum productivity expectations.
- Serve as a clinical resource and conduct routine Medicare/Rehabilitation compliance audits.
- Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice in a rehabilitation discipline (OT, PT, SLP, OTA, PTA) in this state.
- Must have current and up to date CPR certification.
- Some supervisory experience is preferred.
