Who We Are
What You Will Do
This position provides water documentation and analyzing Information to create a safe, effective treatment environment while following infection control, water and hemodialysis equipment training guidelines. In addition this position provides clinical lab testing for water treatment requirements and equipment calibration accordance to Cadia Healthcare Policies, Procedures and Guidelines, OSHA, CMS, federal, state and local regulations.
Requirements :
- High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
- AA Degree in electronics / biomedical technology, or equivalent preferred.
- Successful completion of a Biomedical Technician Technical Certification Program prior to employment is required.
- A Nephrology / Biomedical Industry Technical Certification is preferred.
- Board of Nephrology Examiners Nursing and Technology (BONENT), Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT)
- National Nephrology Certification Organization (NNCO), Certified Biomedical Nephrology Technician (CBNT)
- Biomedical Industry Technical Certification preferred.
- Water Quality Association (WQA)Water Treatment Specialist (WTS)
- Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI), Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET)
- All attained certifications must be maintained and current.
