What You Will Do
Staffing Coordinators play a crucial role in our facility by tracking and scheduling the staff for the facility. As a Staffing Coordinator, you will support our nursing staff by ensuring the schedules are up to date and the facility is staffed appropriately. We’re excited for you to come and join our accomplished team of medical professionals!
Responsibilities
- Create staffing schedules for Nursing Department that assures adequate staffing levels per PPD guidelines
- Adjust staff and schedule as necessary to accommodate for call outs and vacation coverage to ensure all units have coverage
- Responsible for revising the schedule as the facility’s census changes
- Complete and distribute daily PPD reports
- Responsible for reviewing daily punches and processing missed punches
- Provide orientation schedule to new hires and assign staff members to provide orientation
Requirements
- Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must possess at least 1 year of previous scheduling experience
- Experience with MS Office and Excel is highly desired
- At least 6 months of Long Term Care experience is preferred
