The Laundry Attendant is responsible for maintaining a consistent supply of clean linens and towels for the hotel, restaurant, and banquet facilities. The attendant will maintain an organized, clean and sanitary laundry room.
- Sort linens for washer.
- Remove stains from badly soiled linen, consult with the Director of Housekeeping before discarding.
- Operate washers and dryers properly.
- Fold all linens to hotel standards.
- Wash banquet and kitchen laundry as needed. Wash bedspreads, bed pads, and blankets per instructions.
- Handle all laundry chemical products properly and advise the Director of Housekeeping of inventory levels.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Any combination of education, training, and/or experience that provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform. Grade school education is preferred.
- Previous hotel-related experience desired.
