What are the responsibilities and job description for the Energy Auditor position at Cadila Global solution?
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Communicate with customers the scope of the audit process
- Conduct energy audit at the customer’s home according to detailed format which includes entering attics, basements, crawl spaces, and assessing HVAC systems
- Performing various technical tests: blower door, pressure, heating system efficiency etc.
- Assessing and documenting the condition of the thermal envelope.
- Educating the client whenever possible to obtain energy savings.
- Determine areas of possible health and safety dangers and document accordingly
- Installing some energy savings measures such as LED bulbs, efficient flow aerators, efficient flow showerheads, tank wrap
- Review, call, and confirm scheduled jobs 3 days prior to their scheduled date.
- Ensure all equipment is functioning and calibrated in order to complete the job.
- Ensure work is completed within the allotted time frame.
- Manage the paper flow process and ensure each audit is documented completely and meets the respective Utility Company’s requirements.
- Reflect a positive attitude, good communication skills, and friendly demeanor with all customers and homeowners.
- Verify job completion and quality of work during and after audit. Document with camera.
- Report all necessary job notes on file for the office manager to review.
- Upload all documents to the customer folder, ensuring proper upload format
- Upload all photos to the customer folder
- Monitor and verify energy savings resulting from implemented energy efficiency measures.
- Attend training courses and conferences.
- Maintain certifications as required by Weatherization
Minimum & Physical Requirements:
- Current and valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
- Building Performance Institute (BPI) certification (preferred)
- Reliable transportation to and from Harrisburg office location
- Ability to drive commercial vehicles such as a work van and/or box truck
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Background in Building Science (preferred)
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to travel in a vehicle for extended periods of time
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions - inside and outside - year round
- Must be able to enter confined spaces and perform job duties within confined spaces
- Must be able to climb ladders
- Must be able to work in homes of deteriorating conditions
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
