Field Service Technician
The Field Service Technician will be responsible for performing electro-mechanical work, troubleshooting alongside engineers, and collaborating with the team to test, install, start up, and demonstrate customer converting equipment. This role also includes training customers on the operation and maintenance of the equipment.
Field Service Technicians will plan and execute a variety of tasks, including installing and demonstrating company-manufactured machinery and instructing customer employees on its operation at their facility. When not traveling, this position will support the assembly team at our Green Bay shop, assisting in the construction of custom converting equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Possess a strong understanding of web handling equipment and tension control, including the calibration of load cells and tuning of drives.
- Interpret and work from assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, machine manuals, technical procedures, and specifications to install new machines, perform upgrades, and service existing equipment in the field.
- Install and adjust machinery components to ensure proper operation.
- Set up and operate machinery to produce customer products while providing hands-on training for operators.
- Offer technical support, answering customer questions and resolving operational concerns.
- Conduct routine and emergency mechanical/electrical service on customer equipment, diagnose issues, determine root causes, and provide detailed reports with findings and solutions.
This position requires a combination of technical expertise, hands-on problem-solving skills, and customer service to ensure the successful installation and maintenance of our equipment.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
