Essential Job Functions
- Participate with management in establishing quality policy
- Maintain the Quality Control Manual
- Establish the criteria for monitoring product against agreed standards
- Develop and maintain systems for reporting test results on a consistent basis
- Make weekly written reports to management and make recommendations
- Train and manage all QC Staff
- Work well with production personnel, maintenance personnel, management, and all other parties
- Initiate and refine quality procedures within all manufacturing departments
- Manage and train quality inspection personnel
- Train production personnel on expectations for product quality
- Take ownership of and be proactive in all QC related matters
- Utilize reports and analysis to relate quality issues to process improvement
- Maintain records and data regarding the quality testing of extruded and MFG products
- Manage AC174. AC273 and Miami-Dade Certifications (audits, procedures, documentation, and testing)
- Conduct weather testing and analyze data on all PVC profiles
- Maintain records, testing, and reporting on PVC powder/profile color
- Assist in testing new powders/inks/dies and provide recommendations
- Investigate, review, and report on RMAs relating to QC issues
RequirementsRequired Skills & Abilities:
- College degree in related field preferred `
- 5 years quality management experience
- Experience in manufacturing environment
- Management experience
- ISO experience helpful
- Knowledge of measurement processes to check product
- Knowledge of statistical analysis as applied to extrusion process technology
- Knowledge of various quality management and implementation systems
- Engineering / QC background
- Self starter, ability to manage others, ability to work independently with little supervision
- Ability to analyze and solve problems
- Computer literate, MS Office software. CAD helpful.

Pay: $83,555.00 - $100,000.00 per year
