RESNET Rating Field Inspector

Job Functions:

· Must be a RESNET Rating Field Inspector w/ RFIIN and in good standing with RESNET

· Conduct energy testing on new homes, including blower door tests, duct leakage tests, and other diagnostic test to measure energy efficiency and identify areas for improvement.

· Perform site inspections to ensure that construction meets building codes and energy efficiency standards

· Work closely with builders, contractors and other stakeholders to communicate findings and provide recommendations for improving energy efficiency.

· Maintain accurate records of all testing and inspection activities

· Keep up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes related to energy efficiency and sustainability.

· Use of computer/tablet for data entry and retrieval

· Making Decisions and Solving Problems – analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems

· Amount of travel required: >50%

· Ability to move and down ladders and in attic spaces

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

· Outdoor conditions, non-conditioned buildings and normal office settings

· May be required to work overtime and weekend to meet demanding schedules

Qualification:

· High school diploma or equivalent – At least 18 yrs. of age

· Clean driving record

· Have dependable transportation with proof of auto insurance

· Must be able to prove proof of previous employment past 7 years

· Construction and relatable experience a plus

· Attention to detail – Careful about detail and thorough in completing tasks

· Basic mathematics – able to perform math calculations

· Dependability – reliable, responsible and fulfill obligations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
