Duties
- Assess vehicle damage and determine the necessary repairs needed to restore the vehicle.
- Utilize hand tools, welding equipment, and sheet metal techniques to perform repairs.
- Execute auto painting tasks to match the original color and finish of vehicles.
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as required during the repair process.
- Conduct auto estimating to provide accurate assessments of repair costs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining high standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair processes and timelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients and address their concerns.
- Proficiency in welding techniques for effective metal repairs.
- Experience working in a dealership environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of soldering techniques for electrical component repairs.
- Familiarity with auto estimating processes for accurate repair assessments.
- Experience in auto restoration projects is a plus.
- Competence in using hand tools specific to auto body repair tasks.
- Ability to work with sheet metal for bodywork repairs.
