Cadogan Tate Chicago Limited has an exciting position available for a Warehouse Porter!

The essential duties of this role are to receive in, locate and hand out items as directed. Relocate items as directed within the warehouse. Handle, pack, condition report art, antiquities and furniture. Assist in the loading and unloading of Cadogan Tate and third-party trucks. Trash break down /   General cleaning / organizing.

This a full-time position, working Monday through Friday and some weekends. The company provides competitive hourly pay and excellent benefits. The salary depends on applicant's driving and moving experience. The candidate must be able to provide proof of authorization to work in the U.S and proof of vaccination against Covid-19 prior to employment.

Key Responsibilities are :

• Compact crates and carboard using the Trash Compactor and other tools as      required
• Cleaning of warehouse floors
• Wipe down / dust warehouse racking Organize materials
• Organize trash and recycling
• Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs in the building
• Requisition supplies or equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties
• Remove snow from parking lot and sidewalk, using snowplows, snow shovels or spread snow melting salt
• Sweep and maintain clean parking lot
• Handle art, antiques, furniture and household effects proficiently
• Support the Warehouse Team when required, as directed by the Warehouse Manager
• Sanitize inside of CT trucks (dashboard, door handles, seat, and gearbox) after business hours
• General
• Ensure compliance with all HR policies and procedures, and all other Company policies and procedures in place
• Adhere to all Health & Safety policies and procedures
• To act at all times in the best interests of Cadogan Tate, its customers and its employees
