Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Safety Manager to lead safety initiatives and drive continuous improvement in safety practices at our Waterloo IA plant. As a key member of the Plant Management Team you will play a pivotal role in shaping a proactive safety strategy fostering a safetyfirst culture and ensuring compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Strategic Leadership : Develop and implement a proactive safety strategy to ensure a sustainable and safe work environment.
• Compliance Oversight : Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations including the OSHA Client Ergonomic program and maintain related documentation.
• Incident Investigation : Investigate all safetyrelated incidents recommend corrective actions and manage reporting requirements.
• Safety Audits : Conduct regular inspections of plant operations equipment and practices to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Training & Communication : Develop and deliver safety training programs communicate policy changes and foster safety awareness among employees.
• Continuous Improvement : Measure the effectiveness of safety programs and lead the implementation of best practices.
