Role Summary :
We are looking for a seasoned search / search-infra / ml-infra engineer who is looking for an opportunity that comes with a high degree of ownership and responsibility for evolving Tako's search infrastructure and algorithms. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced start up environment where rapid iteration is the name of the game. This person will be a key member of Tako's early engineering team and will be able to have a massive impact on our mission to visualize the world's knowledge.
What You Will Do :
- Expand functionality of Tako's search products in a scalable way, contributing both to the search implementation and infrastructure to support it
- Be willing to talk directly with customers to develop a deep understanding of their use cases for Tako and design search features that will delight them
- Collaborate with platform and data infrastructure teams to ensure the product runs smoothly end to end
- Ensure that Tako's search system can scale in volume and functionality while maintaining aggressive latency goals
