Project Manager (PM)
National Institutes of Health (NIH)
The primary goal of this acquisition is to obtain administrative support services for NIH to meet Government laws and regulations and assist leadership in optimizing NIH’s technology to advance biomedical research through cutting edge practices and techniques.
Place of Performance: National Institute of Health 6555 Rock Spring Drive, Bethesda, MD 20817. NIH envisions contractor staff will perform work on-site and off-site.
Period of Performance: The base period of performance is a twelve (12) month base period with two (2) twelve (12) month option periods.
Schedule: The NIH’s core business hours (ranging between 9:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday through Friday) except Federal holidays or when the Government facility is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar Government facility closings.
Requirements:
- Education and experience: BA or BBA; 5 years of project management experience
- Certification: PMP (preferred)
- U.S. Citizen
Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
- Serving as the Contractor’s main point of contact and overall performance
- Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects
- Takes projects from original concept through final implementation
- Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, computer services, and client services
- Defines project scope and objectives. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports
- Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis
- Tracks funding and burn rates for all projects being executed in support of this contract
- Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables prior to delivery
