POSITION & REQUIREMENTS SUMMARY:

We are looking for an exceptional Territory Sales Manager, dedicated to high performance, personal excellence and a strong work ethic, who shares our passion for transforming medical education and patient safety.

As a key member of the regional sales team, the primary purpose of this position is to establish relationships with our prospective and existing clients and to generate revenue.

The ideal candidate must create, cultivate and close sales leads within the assigned territory. Must be autonomous and work well in a cross-functional team. Must develop solid relationships and represent the reputation and brand of Elevate Healthcare.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Forecast, meet and exceed assigned sales quota through direct sale of Elevate Healthcare products and services.
  • Pursue business opportunities to ensure retention of existing revenue, while widening product usage and increase customer penetration for the company products.
  • Grow and manage assigned territory efficiently and effectively.
  • Identify, build, develop and maintain customer and stakeholder relationships.
  • Create, update and execute the territory Sales Business Plan to include strategy, tactics and milestones for reaching goals set by the company.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team and the territory RSM (regional sales manager) and build target list of client accounts.
  • Focuses on customer relationships to ensure retention of existing revenue, while broadening product usage and increasing the customer penetration for business segment.
  • Provide accurate pipeline management and reporting and execute tactical sales plans.
  • Call on prospective customers to promote Elevate Healthcare products and programs.
  • Achieve sales by providing technical product information and demonstrations and through demonstration of financial, clinical and patient benefits.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.
  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Attend conferences and organize regional sales events to promote Elevate Healthcare's visibility and generate leads and sales.
  • Develop, maintain and deliver accurate information on lost business.
  • Thoroughly learn and maintain current knowledge of Elevate Healthcare's products, services and competitors' landscape.
  • Provide frequent market feedback on products, competition and market conditions to Product Marketing.
  • Coordinate with and involve other company personnel when needed for customer satisfaction, including support resources, team members, and management.
  • Help establish and comply with sales policies, pricing guidelines, and best practices for Elevate Healthcare's service offering.
  • Become proficient in the healthcare simulation industry.
  • Timely and accurately fulfill Sales Administration duties:
    • Expense reporting within guidelines outlined in Elevate's Travel & Entertainment Policy.
    • Reporting on conferences, trade shows and/or workshops.
    • Orderly management of company assets.
    • Update customer database via Salesforce.com.
    • Special team assignments as required.
  • Maintain the highest standards of integrity and respect for co-workers, customers and prospects.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Live in Texas, preferably Houston, Austin or San Antonio.
  • Work effectively in a virtual and remote environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to professionally follow up, move forward/advance, and close opportunities.
  • Ability to learn and retain product specific information as it pertains to the position.
  • Organized individual with the proven ability to manage vast and varied accounts.
  • Fearless hunter, well versed in solution-based selling and established closing techniques.
  • Excellent listening, presentation and communications skills.
  • Travel up to 50% in the assigned territory. This may include travel via car or plane.
  • Proficient with office technology and Microsoft Office.

PREFERRED:

  • Prior exposure/experience with medical simulation, medical device or medical education.
  • Direct business-to-business territory selling experience.
  • Documented record of success in establishing and building sustainable relationships.
  • Experience utilizing a major client relationship management system.
  • University degree in life sciences or equivalent related degree/experience.
  • Experience with extended sales cycles (8 to 15 months).
  • Experience with the purchasing process associated with state academic institutions, hospitals, universities, community college and technical schools.
  • Experience in medical simulation.

GENERAL:

  • Complies with and enforces all applicable safety rules, regulations and procedures both at Elevate Healthcare and wherever representing Elevate Healthcare (i.e., program site, trade show, etc.).
  • Perform all duties in compliance with, and enforce legal and ethical standards including: Elevate's Code of Business Conduct, Elevate's policies and procedures, country laws and regulations, Federal and States or Provincial Laws, policies and standards.
  • Maintain security of all proprietary information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or as necessity dictates.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to lift or push weight up to 50 pounds (simulators).
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment.
