Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Linux Systems Administrator to join our team at CAE USA Inc. The ideal candidate will have advanced Linux administration skills and be well-versed in working in virtual environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Ensure the smooth operation of our 24/7 operations center
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements
• Maintain accurate documentation for system configurations and procedures
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner
• Stay current with industry developments and emerging technologies
Requirements
• 8 years of professional experience in Linux administration and technical leadership
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field; or three additional years of relevant experience (11 years total)
• Proficiency in RHEL and Ubuntu systems, including security compliance and patch management
• Current Security certification or other DoD 8570.01m IAT level 2 or higher certification
• Experience working with Cross-Domain Solutions and applying STIGs to address vulnerabilities
• Red Hat Certified Engineer preferred
