Summary
The Product Quality Supervisor reports directly to the site Quality Manager. They are responsible for overseeing all aspects of product quality to ensure that all produced goods meet established standards by monitoring production processes, conducting quality checks, identifying and addressing quality issues, and leading a team of quality inspectors to maintain consistent high-quality output, often collaborating with other departments to identify and implement continuous improvement strategies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Provide daily leadership and coordination of tasking, of 2-3 Quality Inspectors within the Receiving, In-process and Calibration departments.
Review production schedules to ensure personnel are available to support the assigned task and coordinate with the Quality Manager to address any capacity concerns.
Monitor established metrics, identify negative trends and take corrective action as required to ensure departmental goals are met.
Work directly with Quality Management, Quality Engineering, Engineering, Planning, etc. to identify the root cause of nonconformances and prevent their reoccurrence.
Lead the Return to Vendor disposition process for purchased material.
Manage the equipment calibration system, to ensure equipment is available and in proper calibration as required.
Assigned site Foreign Object Debris (FOD) program coordinator, to include monitoring, reporting and corrective action initiatives in accordance with the documented process.
Track, coordinate and conduct training for each Quality Inspector to ensure compliance with the individual training requirements.
Provide weekly status updates to the Quality Manager as directed.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
6 years’ experience as a Quality Inspector within an aeronautical, automotive, manufacturing or medical environment.
2 years’ experience in a direct Supervisory role.
Ability to interpret and derive requirements from mechanical drawings, wiring schematics, product specifications and statements of work.
Knowledgeable in the requirements of ISO 9001 / AS9100.
Trained in problem solving tools & techniques.
Experience working with Suppliers on quality related issues.
Experience with nonconforming database systems, MRP systems, Corrective Action systems, MS Word & Excel.

Preferred Skills
Workmanship experience with IPC Standards 610 & 620, where certification is preferred
Experience with calibrated test equipment; calibration lab experience ANSI/NCSL Z540-1 or ISO/IEC 17025 preferred.
Proficient in Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing per ANSI Y14.5.
ASQ Certified Quality Inspector.
Deltek CostPoint and ETQ Reliance system knowledge
Security Responsibilities
Must comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.
Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office and manufacturing environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, Scanners and filing cabinets.
