Basic Qualifications :
- Degree : Bachelor's degree in computer science or bachelor's degree with 30 semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science. At least 15 of the 30 semester hours must have included any combination of statistics and mathematics that included differential and integral calculus. All academic degrees and course work must be from accredited or pre-accredited institutions.
Minimum Qualifications :
At least 1 year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service, to include experience promoting the awareness of security issues ensuring sound security principles; and ensuring promotion of shared infrastructure and applications to reduce costs and improve information flow.
At least 1 year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service, to include experience advising on all assigned information security support programs and initiatives aimed at identifying and safeguarding systems; and applying the theoretical foundations of computer science and computer system architecture.
At least 1 year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service, to include experience providing regular and recurring advisory services to other state and local agencies on the selection, development, architecture, design and use of data systems and technologies; and reviewing IT security programs to assess overall compliance with cybersecurity plans and policies.
At least 1 year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service, to include experience providing leadership in the direction, development, testing, implementation and evaluation of health informatics and information technology systems; investigating advanced information processing technologies and tools to enhance the data collection; and evaluating the impact of new cybersecurity guidance.
