Position Summary:
As a Buyer at Caerus Corp, you will play a crucial role in our procurement process by ensuring that materials are purchased on time to support production and operations. The Buyer collaborates with production teams, analyzes market trends, and builds strong supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery and efficient operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Issue purchase orders based on production schedules, inventory needs, and procurement strategies.
Communicate with suppliers to negotiate prices, delivery terms, and order conditions. Maintain positive relationships to ensure reliable supply chains.
Monitor stock levels and ensure materials are available to meet production schedules without overstocking.
Research market trends and supplier options to identify cost-saving opportunities and high-quality materials.
Track shipments, resolve delivery delays, and ensure all goods are received on time and in accordance with specifications.
Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to address quality discrepancies and ensure all materials meet company standards.
Analyze purchase price variance and identify opportunities to reduce procurement costs.
Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, supplier agreements, and inventory updates in the ERP system.
Ensure all purchases comply with company policies and applicable regulations.
Resolve issues such as invoice discrepancies, order errors, or supply shortages promptly.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
2 3 years of experience in procurement, buying, or a similar role.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Solid understanding of supply chain principles and inventory management.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Compensation:
Caerus Corp provides the following information about compensation for this position:
Salary Range: $65,000.00 - $80,000 per year

The salary range is based on several factors which will vary based on position. These include labor markets and, in some instances, may include but not limited to education, work experience, scope and responsibilities of position and geographic location.
