Position Summary:
The Production Supervisor Machine Operations is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing processes, ensuring production goals are met while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency standards. This role involves supervising machine operators, troubleshooting equipment issues, optimizing workflow, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. The supervisor collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive productivity, enforce compliance with company policies, and foster a culture of teamwork and accountability. Preferred candidates will have a strong mechanical aptitude.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure desired product quality levels are achieved by implementing standard work practices, providing training and utilizing tools and data for continuous improvement.
- Assign and direct production team members to ensure targets for production volume, cost efficiency, and quality are met, while achieving production goals and delivery deadlines.
- Maintain operations data, such as cycle time, production, and cost records, and prepare management reports of results.
- Address and report recurring processing issues, develop and implement solutions to technical problems, and conduct in-process quality check audits to ensure operational efficiency and product quality.
- Drive quality standards, process conformance and continuous quality improvements.
- Review production schedules to identify potential issues and implement effective solutions to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to develop and implement ongoing workforce planning strategies.
- Review and approve employee timecards and time-off requests to ensure accurate payroll processing and adequate staffing levels.
- Assist in coaching and counseling employees to develop a strong, high-performing team, while fostering positive collaboration across teams and effectively managing employee conflicts.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- 2 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other similar process improvement tools preferred.
- Previous experience working with industrial textile machines (auto cutters, die cutters, laser cutters, automated multi-ply textile cutters) preferred.
- Experience working in a regulated environment (ISO 13485:2016, ISO 9001, FDA QSR)preferred.
Compensation:
Caerus Corp provides the following information about compensation for this position:
- Salary Range: $68,000 $75,000 per year (or hourly range, if applicable).

The salary range is based on several factors which will vary based on position. These include labor markets and, in some instances, may include but not limited to education, work experience, scope and responsibilities of position and geographic location.
